Indivisible rockland protest code of conduct

We are committed to non-violent expression of our First Amendment rights, and we expect the same from everyone who joins us. In addition to our general Code of Conduct, please keep the following in mind:

⚠️Let’s All Stay Safe – And Effective!
For a positive and safe experience for everyone, please follow these simple guidelines:

🚫 Don’t Engage! Ignore hecklers or taunts from cars and passersby. Arguing or yelling on a street corner doesn’t change minds it just distracts from our message.

⚠️Stay on the Sidewalk! This is a busy area. Please remain on the public sidewalk, stand back from the curb, and avoid sitting or kneeling near it. Cross only at crosswalks and always obey traffic signals.

🛑Keep in Mind! Even a small confrontation can be twisted by media or politicians. Keep signs appropriate - no Nazi symbols or hate speech. And please, no weapons of any kind, even if legal.

👀See Something, Say Something! If you see concerning behavior - like a circling car or someone acting suspiciously - tell someone in a blue vest right away.

Thank you for keeping things safe, peaceful and full of good energy.
